Destination: Jammu-Kashmir -Ladakh

Day 01: Jammu – Srinagar (300 km, 08 to 09 Hours Approx)

Arrival at Jammu Railway Station transfer to Srinagar   On arrival at Srinagar Check in  Hotel for 1 night stay. Kashmir is famous for beautiful valley and lakes dotted with Shikaras and the Mughal Gardens. Evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake.  Night stay at Deluxe Hotel.

Mughal gardens are a group of gardens built by the Mughal in the Islamic style of architecture. This style was heavily influenced by the Persian gardens particularly the Charbagh structure.[1] Significant use of rectilinear layouts is made within the walled enclosures. Some of the typical features include pools, fountains and canals inside the gardens.

Day 02: To Kargil (Via Sonmarg)Srinagar – Sonmarg– Kargil  (250 km, 6 Hours)

After breakfasts Check-out from hotel and drive through the local villages and Hills to reach the place called  Sonmarg also known as “Meadows of Gold” Enjoy horse riding and local sightseeing. After sightseeing transfer to Kargil. Check- in at hotel evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Sonmarg, at an altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level, 87 km north-east of Srinagar. The drive to Sonmarg is though yet another spectacular facet of country side in Kashmir, this time in Sindh Valley. The Sindh Valley is the largest tributary of the valley of Kashmir. It is upwards of sixty miles long, and valley and deep rock-girt gorge to open grassy meadow land and Village-dotted slopes Kargil is a district of Ladakh region in Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Kargil lies near the Line of Controlfacing Gilgit–Baltistan to the west, and Kashmir valley to the south. Zanskar is part of Kargil district along with Suru, Wakha and Dras valleys.

Day 03: Kargil – Leh (250 km, 6 Hours)

After breakfast at hotel transfer to Leh. On arrival at Leh meeting and assistance by our representative at Hotel. Check in at the Hotel for 02 nights wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the Hotel. Evening you can visit Leh local market.

Leh town offers a number of sightseeing options for the visitors. A historic town that served as the royal capital of the Old Kingdom, it is dominated by the nine-storey palace built by King Singge Namgyal in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture, which is said to have inspired the famous Potala in Lhasa built about half a century later.

Day 04: Leh (Monestries Sightseeing)

Breakfast at the hotel, leave for complete day of visit to the monasteries (104 Kms) visit the Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis monasteries and Stok Palace Museum. Evening return back to hotel for overnight stay.
The Shey Monastery or Gompa and the Shey Palace complex are structures located on a hillock inShey,15 kilometres (9.3 mi) to the south of Leh in Ladakh, northern India on the Leh-Manali road. Shey was the summer capital of Ladakh in the past.

Thikse Gompa or Thikse Monastery (also transliterated from Ladakhi as Tikse, Tiksey or Thiksey) (thiksok Nambar tak pe ling) is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Yellow Hat (Gelugpa) sect, located on top of a hill, approximately 19 kilometres east of Leh[1] in Ladakh, India. It is noted for its resemblance to thePotala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet and is the largest gompa in central Ladakh

Day 05: Leh – Nubra (120 km, 3-4 hrs Drive)

After Breakfast check-out from hotel drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft).on arrival check-in at Hotel Organic Retreat (Tented Accommodation)   for 01 night. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village.  Overnight Hotel.Nubra Valley to Leh (120 Kms) After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Overnight Tent.

Nubra Valley is about 150 km north of Leh, the capital town of Ladakh, India. Local scholars say that its original name was Ldumra (the valley of flowers). The Shyok River meets the Nubra or Siachan River to form a large valley that separates the Ladakh and the Karakoram Ranges. The average altitude of the valley is about 10,000 ft. above the sea level. The common way to access this valley is to travel over the Khardung La from Leh. Non-locals require an Inner Line Permit (obtainable in Leh town) to enter Nubra.

Day 06: Nubra - Leh (120 km, 3-4 hrs Drive)

After Breakfast check-out from hotel and visit Deskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. On arrival check-in at Hotel for 03 nights.

Day 07: Leh – Pangong – Leh (160 Kms 4 – 5 hrs drive each way)

After breakfast leave for a trip to Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motorable road in the world.) Return back to Leh for night stay.

Pangong Tso (or Banggong Co Lake) is an endorheic lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 m (14,270 ft). It is 134 km (83 mi) long and extends from India to Tibet. 60% of the length of the lake lies in China. The lake is 5 km (3.1 mi) wide at its broadest point. During winter the lake freezes completely, despite being saline water. The lake is in the process of being identified under the Ramsar Convention as a wetland of international importance. This will be the first trans-boundary wetland in South Asia under the convention.

Day 08: Pangong - Leh  (160 Kms 4 – 5 hrs drive each way)

After breakfast Same Route   through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motorable road in the world.) Return back to Leh for night stay Leh.

Day 09: Leh to Kargil

After breakfast at the hotel, check-out from hotel and transfer to Kargil On Arrival Kargil Check in Hotel. Night Stay At Kargil

Kargil is a city in the Kargil district of Ladakh region, in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is the second largest town in Ladakh after Leh

Day 10: Kargil  to Sonmarg

After Breakfast Check out from hotel transfer to sonmarg. On arrival at sonmarg check in hotel night stay at sonmarg

Day 11: Sonmarg to Baltal

After Breakfast transfer to baltal Proceed to Amarnath Yatra by Helli.Evening back to sonmarg over night stay at sonmarg.
 
Amarnath cave is a Hindu shrine located in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The cave is situated at an altitude of 3,888 m, about 141 km from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir and reached through Sonamarg  town

Day 12: Sonmarg to Katra (332 Kms 08 to 10 Hrs Approx)

Early Morning Check out from hotel transfer to Katra, On arrival at katra Check in hotel after freshup proceed to mata vaishno devi yatra by track.

The shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is one of the most visited pilgrim sites in India. Situated at a height of 5,300 ft., the site is located inside a cave in a hill. amidst the folds of the Trikuta Bhagwati hill at a height of 5,300 ft., in the state of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). This cave temple is at a distance of 61 kms from Jammu and the last 13 kms of the way have to be negotiated on foot by the yatris, as the devotees are called. Once at the entrance to the cave, the path turns into a narrow tunnel with a cold stream named the Charan Ganga running through it. The pilgrim has to wade through this to reach the sanctum sanctorum. 

The holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi is nestled in a beautiful recess of the Trikuta Mountains forming a part of the lower Himalayas. It is located 61 km north of Jammu at a height of 5,200 feet above the sea level in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. In the cave there are images of three deities viz. the Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati.

Day 13: Depature

After Breakfast Check out from hotel transfer to jammu or katra railway staion to back home.
